From the pitch to club development

Problem

The transition from professional player to club-side developer is often informal. Clubs need people who understand the dressing room and can still build systems.

Approach

After a professional playing career (2010–2023), Matins moved into football development at the same Swedish club environment, combining UEFA B methodology with lived playing experience.

Outcome

A documented role as Football Developer for Bankeryd SK from 2023, following retirement from professional football.

Impact
